PTL Restaurant Night Out
Our first Restaurant Night Out of 2012 will be at Riccardo's in Schaumburg on Monday, Jan. 23 from 11am-10pm. Riccardo's is located at 1170 S. Roselle Rd in Schaumburg. With your help, the St Peter PTL will receive 20% of all sales from those who bring in the special flyer. Look for the flyer in the Friday School Notes. Tell your family and friends, and be sure to give them a flyer. This is for dine-in and carry-out only, and no other coupons, please. Reservations are recommended and appreciated, so please call 847-891-7777. Don't miss this great fellowship event!
The PTL received a check from the Village Tavern & Grill in the amount of $187.74 for the December RNO. Thanks to all who participated!

The village of Schaumburg was founded by German farmers who wanted to raise their children in their culture and traditions on the great plains of Illinois. So, in 1847 they started the St. Peter Lutheran Church and School.
The school continues to be a strong asset in a thriving community that has changed from one based on farming, to one focused on family-businesses. St. Peter has buildings on the property dating back earlier than Abe Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address.
Although St. Peter has buildings dating back to the foundation of the church & school, many changes have also been seen.The school is no longer a one room school house, but has expanded to 2 buildings located on 30 acres. Children now ride buses to school rather than horses. The congregation has worshipped in 3 buildings since its founding in 1847, including the newest worship center built in 1995. They have seen everything from the invention of phones and electricity to learning how to communicate through the internet.
St. Peter Lutheran School shares the message that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior so everyone will know God and grow in love for Him and each other.
